Font 2013: Part 1

We made it!  Lyn and Conrad waiting for our rental car to be ready, along with our pile of luggage.

The "gite" that we are staying in in the town of Larchant.

Lyn, Conrad, and our housemates Michele & Lander on the way to the local boulangerie on our first morning.  Très French.

Since it was so snowy, we visited the gardens of Chateau de Fontainebleau.

Snowy path and reflecting pool at the gardens.

We had high hopes that things might dry later that afternoon, but things were still very snowy at the Elephant climbing area.

Conrad wears his "green bean atmosphere suit" (as dubbed by Lander) to stay warm and toasty.  The temperature varies between 0 - 4 degrees Celsius.

Today we climbed at the Elephant climbing area.  Things were still a bit wet though.  We warmed up on this giant boulder by climbing up and down on the swiss cheese-like holds.

Mike Madigan had the send of the day, by climbing the black circuit problem that turned away all other comers.
